Inspired by special editions of LIFE magazine from the 1960's and 70's, Ferguson is a 64-page magazine of original black and white photography of the aftermath of the Michael Brown shooting in Ferguson, Missouri in 2014. Photographed by David Butow over two visits to the town, the zine was produced within two weeks of the grand jury decision not to prosecute the officer who killed the teenager. In addition to photographs, it contains reproductions of original police interviews as well as an essay by the author. Designed by Butow and photographer Rian Dundon, the zine was printed on traditional offset in Oakland, California in January 2015. Signed by the author.
